Hugh Laurie for President!

Next time you see J, remember to have him do his impression of a criminal getting tased on COPS. If you're lucky enough to see him actually fall to the floor, you will laugh so hard you will cry, I promise you that.

I didn't see all of the Golden Globes last night because I had to turn it every time they cut to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Those two make me gag. Uck. But I was happy to see that Alec Baldwin won and I liked Felicity Huffman's dress. It seemed like they didn't just go for the easy choice and tried to pick some different people to win, so that was cool. But I'm still refusing to see Dreamgirls. I'm currently on a Beyonce boycott (or "Beyoncecott") because I read an article about her in a magazine this past weekend where she basically just talked about how much she loves herself. Gag.

I'm anti-Beyonce too. She's had some diva behavior lately and I don't stand for that. I'm going to see Dreamgirls this weekend because it'll be free (gift card) and because Jim from the Office is in it. It's probably a line or two but I'm determined to see all his stuff.

That's awesome about J and his COPS impression. We tend to do those in our house too. Does J do it with his shirt on or off though? 'Cause a lot of those criminals tend to get arrested when shirtless.

Loved the Golden Globes, too! So happy Grey's Anatomy won and Ugly Betty, too, such a cute show!
Ann, how was the gutter this weekend?
AMEN on Brangelina, they make me want to barf. NEVER understood the fascination with her.

The gutter was good. We went out for dinner and drinks on Friday and it was a lot of fun. And the rest of the weekend we rested a lot, so it was very satisfying.

Jim is in Dreamgirls? What does he play?

He plays someone named Sam Walsh. I'll let you know more about it next week. I'm honestly expecting him to only have one scene but that's enough for me.

I FauxVo'd the Globes and will watch it this weekend. I'm thrilled with the fact that 24 didn't win stuff. Such an overrated show.

Yay for gutters!

Did you see the previews for that ice skating movie that Pam's going to be in this summer? That looks quite interesting.

I've never seen 24. Wait, I saw part of an episode in a rerun once and I had no idea what was going on, so I turned it. It seemed really tense though.

i haven't seen 24, either, but figured it is too late now to start. I don't need another show that requires watching every single episode to keep up with storyline...why I stopped watching Lost..just couldn't keep up! Now that it is back on at 10:00, there really is no way! :)

Oh, I know. There's no way I'll be able to stay up until 11 every Wednesday night. Did you read that thing about the creators trying to end Lost anyway?

Ann, I didn't read that. Where did you see it?

I think it was on yahoo...it talked about being able to tie up stories if there were an end date. They don't want to be like XFiles which was 2 seasons too long...loved XFiles but have to agree!

One place I read it said they're thinking of next year being the last season. They're claiming this is what they wanted to do all along, but you gotta wonder how true that is.

Mike read something about Lost, but from what he said, it was just about how they had decided how it would end, but didn't give a time.

I will definitely NOT make it until 11 pm for Lost. Unless I go home and nap first!
