Always bet on black
I feel like such a jerk, but I was watching the women's world figure skating championship yesterday and this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kf5FH__TbQ) just cracked me up. You don't have to watch the whole thing--just get to one minute in. And she really seemed like a nice girl. My ability to laugh at the misfortunes of others makes me disappointed in myself.

I can't believe it, but I actually saw that! We were flipping channels and stopped and caught her fall. People falling down always cracks me up and it disappoints me, too, but I can't help it. Parkey Posey busting her a$$ in Dazed and Confused at the end when they are at the field party is a classic. I am pretty sure I have either blogged or commented about that scene before.
Oh yeah, Parker falling is a superb moment in an already great movie.
I like laughing at people when they fall because I fall enough to allow it. I figure I give people joy when I'm on my butt so it's only right that I get to laugh when it's not me.
It's true--I fall a lot, too, so at least I'm not laughing at her in a "I'm better than you" way. It was so funny on tv because they replayed it in slo mo like 3 times. And it got funnier every time.
